Tips to Avoid Rattlesnakes:

Prevent the habitat that attracts rattlesnakes. Rodents are attracted to things such as pallets, lumber, boards, signage, firewood, rocks, abandoned vehicles, thick vegetation, garbage piles, and any other debris close to the ground surface. Rattlesnakes and rodents like dark, damp, and cool habitats.

Snakes can be repelled by sealing openings to homes with screens, sheet metal, mortar or other hardware. Ensure all crawl spaces and doors are sealed tightly. Snake-proof fencing can also be installed.
